We're off to Hawaii

well it's been harrowing to say the least, but we're finally and i mean finally booked for hawaii. i was actually booked last week on a return fare from toronto to honolulu at $2800 (for two people). i'm an immigrant and inherently tight with money and so i checked the expedia site yesterday and the tickets were listed at $930 return!! that's $800 less than what i paid for them. i was outraged but left it as is and it took great strength and will to not call expedia and get them to refund my money. today the fucking tickets are $630 return!! after shitting a full grown cat, i called up expedia to try to get a refund of a whopping $1400. that's a lot of money that i ain't spending in hawaii. after an hour on the phone with them, i finally got them to cancel the origial tickets at $2800 and book new ones for $1300 and change. can you believe that? so now i have tickets to honolulu and credits to anywhere i want to go in the world. the really sweet deal is that in about 24 hours from me writing this post the same tickets went up to $3500!!! yes, the immigtant in me wins again.
